Father Gale Leifeld was accused of sexually abusing students at St. Lawrence Seminary in Wisconsin.  The Milwaukee Journal printed a front-page story in December 1992 detailing the allegations of abuse against Father Leifeld.  One of the men claimed that Father Leifeld often spoke about the time he spent in Guam.  In August 1981, Father Gale wrote a provincial minister about parish work he did on Guam the previous summer.  Father Leifeld died in June 1994 at the age of 65.
