Summary
Father Andrew Mannetta first came to Guam in 1980, and he was ordained into the priesthood in May 1983. In 2003, a lawsuit was filed that claimed Father Mannetta sexually abused a child while he was the pastor of St. Elizabeth Church in Aiea, Hawaii. His accuser claimed that he was sexually abused from 1997 to 2001. Other public accusations claimed that Father Mannetta sexually abused two altar boys in 1994 and another youth between 1997-1998. Father Mannetta served at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Agat, Guam, after he was ordained. He was also assigned to San Miguel in Talofofo, and Santa Teresita Church in Mangilao.
